Hi everyone i just wanted to hear and or see the best /worst games you guys have played on chess.com. Feel free to include rating of you and ur opponent and do not be afraid to show a horrible blunder.
Best win:Ianmetcalf (1023) Ulyyses (1373)
Worst loss: Ianmetcalf(1015) chicharontripon (775)
I am sorry i could not post them I am having technical difficulties but feel free to see them. I especially like the win as I used a ruy lopez opening and won in 27 moves. Please comment and fell free to post your best and worst.
By the way i know i have a low rating no need to remind me.

Some of the best (recent wins) :
One - this is a very recent one, I made an unsound sacrifice & didn't play all the right moves but had a strong attack that won for me anyway!
Two - I didn't play the endgame perfectly & this game ended in a draw but I had a very strong attack in the beginning. Strongest player I have drawn (so far)!
Three - One of my favorite wins, during a tight-race to advance in a tournament I was hosting (I lost to the #1 in my group & did not advance anyway). I might say it is my all time fave win except that I missed Qxd6 at the end, however, I thought I played well & especially was proud of 24 ... Rc2!
Game 4 - a quick win vs. a fairly high rated player (only took one exchange losing blunder)
Game 5 - Another one I'm fairly proud of.
Nearly all my games have had subtle (and often gross) mistakes, the other one I analyzed with no errors on my part was this one which sadly didn't get to finish because my opponent went on a mass-resigning spree (he was playing dozens upon dozens of games at once).
Now to a couple of miserable losses! I won't comment but let the results speak for themselves.
Probably my #1 worst : a devastating route, I resigned in only 13 moves
Here's another pretty hard loss for me, this one in only 15 moves.
Great thread idea Ian!

If I had a greatest game of all time it would probably go something like this.

no need to resign in the last game. bad but solvable
First win against a master!
(albeit one not paying super close attention)

Are these the two games your referring to?
Don't feel too bad on the second game. We all fell for that type of mate before. Now you have seen it you know what to look out for.
Wow thanks for all the posts and thanks hmcgrier for posting my 2 games. I appreciate all the feedback keep posting with other games as well.

don't worry I get creamed all the time; except never the same way so I must be improving and the games last longer!!

i never had a GOOD game but my worst game was when i lost in 6 moves...
You got there first. Many little mistakes but your ideas we're right in regards to the endgame (for the most part), gg. :)
