This game I played with a 1980 player on Msn gaming zone. I am a 1900. I was white. Check out how edgy this game is. Tell me of any moves I missed. I hope you enjoy it I know I did.

If this would be the best game I'll ever see, I'd probably stop playing.

Not that it was a bad game.

1900 vs 1980 might be a little overrated perhaps,  the e1 knight is an interesting alternative for the g2 threat. is it a common move?

Thanks for the notes. Your right I have seen alot better games. I was just excited after I won cause it was a long battle and he had mate in 1. Thanks guys I know its not the best.

the important thing is if you had fun.  Looked pretty solid.  Must have been satisfying.

Yeah seemed like a fun game I always feel slightly robbed when they resign just before mate.

It was... fun. But that's all.

 

And yes, MS Gaming Zone rating are reallyl inflated. Only in MS Zone I was able to beat 2000 rated player in a 30min game.

 I think it's forgiveable since you admit the truth and gave a reasonable explanation.

 With a title like that, everybody will judge it. Well, everybody that isn't turned away by the title.

Not bad.  I dunno how you discern which games are 'better' per say.  GMs playing GMs... beginner's matches... anything game can be good even if half the moves are questionable.  I dunno... perhaps I'm someone who simply doesn't get excited over someone else's match.  Especially people I don't know.  It's more exciting to play your own games vs people.  Especially vs friends.  That way I can say that my best game was the game I played with my Dad when I was 10 and that's when I finally beat him.  Even though looking back at it now, I can pinpoint all the errors, that was my best game since he's the one who introduced me to chess.

All that aside, if the chess game was nightmare chess instead of classical chess, then that's pretty damn exciting to watch.
