6...Qb6 seems a bit premature to me, it is by no means clear the Queen belongs there or that the French-style attack on d4 will help.  I prefer 6 ...Ne7 developing, but not necessarily to cover the Bf5 - more to take its square later if 7 Nh4 Bg6  8 Nxg6 hxg6, or possibly to go to c6 after a later ...c5, as in the game.

His 8 Nbd2 is slow, you should play ...Ng6 and ...Be7, when Black's pieces are much better placed and you have no weaknesses.  Your ...c5 instead is very poorly timed, but White missed 9 dxc5! and you should have taken your chance to play ...c4 there or on the next move, which would have left you with the better minor pieces since White's Knights can't easily find support points.

The whole Knight adventure ...Nc6-b4-c2xe3 is a huge waste of time and material - Black's Knight is worth more than White's "bad" Bishop, reduced to a passive role.

The idea of .. Qb6 is double: putting pressure on White's d4 pawn and preventing White from playing Be3 (because b2 is attacked).  I have played this line as White for a while, and once White can stabilize his centre he has no problems.  It is early for that to be played, as it prevents White playing Nh4 and the queen can immediately be attacked by either a4-a5 or c4-Nc3, etc.

One of my favourites along with the sicillian dragon and alekhine's defence. I'm always thankful when i get the opportunity to play these as 1.d4 is trickier to play against imo.
