I think his ...c4 move was the start of his troubles. He should have moved the Queen to the back rank.

       Black's 14...Nxe3 forking the queen and rook (oh goody) f2xe3 and white has a cannon backing the kingside attack. Took the dark bishop way too early. Started with a flank attack and left too many pieces queenside.

Nice one.  You also could've done it with 19 Rf6, since if 19... Be7 20 Rxh6 gh 21 Nxh6+ Kg7 22 Nf5+ mates.

20. Qg6+ Kh8 21. Qxh6+ Kg8 22. Rf6 looks better. White is threatening Rg6# and 22. ... c4 is met by 23. Qg5+ Kh8 24. Rh6#
