Hey guys. I joined a chess club 3 months ago and i am know competing in the club Championship. I play in group C and have not yet gotten a rating. This is my 3rd ever rated chess game otb. I know i did some serious bad moves in this game, but i somehow felt like i could at least get a draw at some point. What went wrong here guys?

Nothing much happened, then you gave away a pawn with 35...h5. In the endgame with 49...Kh4 and 50...Kh3 you put your king offside, allowing him to sacrifice his bishop so that his own king could invade and take all your other pawns (knights aren't good at defense). Then it was lost.

At a quick glance you didn't really play badly, maybe just a little too passive through the middle part of the game where your opponent seemed to re-arrange his pieces to nice active or soon to be active squares It seemed a little like he/she had a plan while you were quite content to sit on your position (have another look at what he/she does between move 21 onwards to about move 33). And i'm not sure I'd recommend move 35. .... h5, white gaining the pawn and having the white squared bishop while most of your pawns on the white squares definently favoured their endgame.

...43 king takes pawn is a huge mistake, just take the pawn on e4 (exd) and black is totally winning the ending
