And here is a few more cool mates:

    And a final one:

    AND FINALLY MY FAVORITE MATE!!!

This next one, my opponent preforms a ealry bishop sacrifice and pays the cost.

this next one is a quirky variation of the typical "fish hook" mating trap line in Ruy lopez.  Just thought some people would like to see it

When my opponent sacrificed her queen, I was scared initially, however I felt like there was no threat substantial enough to justify it, and in the end I love the 3 piece triangle formation that I used to check mate her with.

UPDATE: May20th! sorry I havent been playing much, lots of tests at school!

I did enjoy these. But in the 3rd one, why not just 29... Qd2#.  Not beautiful enough?  Wink

nice mates, that first one looks like something a grand master would come up with, but then you went and missed the mate in 1 on the 3rd so... hehe

What I don't get, is how come your rating is so (comparitively) low? Some of these mates I wouldn't find in a correspondance game! Excellent games btw, do like the first one, very brave.

Very sharp glance you must have to see all this in a minute , but this is very cruel limit of time . You can try 3 and 5 minutes and see whether this will improve your development.

When 1 minute - your opponents often make mistakes and this can stop your development.

@jaydeeuk1, during the school semester I only like to play unrated, as I dont have time to emerse myself in chess theory so that I feel comfortable to play rated.

So for now my rating will remain (comparatively) low.

@morph27, yes 1 minute games create many blunders and mistakes, in my opinion 1 minute games are best suited for 2 things:

    1) being able to observe a position rapidly
    2) being able to observe blunders or mistakes well.

When im done with my semester at school, I will probably spend more time playing blitz 3-5 minute games, and hopefully improve my skills :)
