So I was tired today and somewhat bored of looking at chess openings, so I decided to try the Caro-Kann Defense for the first time. I've been thinking about adding it to my repertoire for sometime now, since I like to play the Semi-Slav Defense. Since I was tired, I just lazily traded pieces, but keeping my pawn structure intact to suit my style of play, not caring if the game was going to end in a sterile draw or not.

However, I pulled off the win after winning a critical pawn with 24. ... Bxd4! and mass exchanging my way into a foolproof endgame. I wonder if ozzie himself could do a better job with the Black pieces? (seriously, I kid, I kid). Anyway, did I miss anything here:

Nice game.  Your play was simple but powerful.  You made it look too easy.  I can't figure out why computers make moves like 4. Bd3??
