Danish gambit

With white I lately switch between the Danish gambit, King's gambit, Evans gambit and Ponziani opening. They might be know for their drawish nature (especially kings gambit and the Ponziani), for me (and I think for everyone in the advanced beginner level) they give me fun and tactical games.

This game I played in the danish gambit. My opponent took all offered pawns and then continued in the line i see most often. I think i had a pretty good postion out of the opening, although, offcourse, a few pawns down. I dont play with an opening book so the moves might not be the most accurate.

I won the game, however I don't feel like it should be in the game showcase forum, since I think i did not play optimal. I hope some more advanced players can point out what could have been better. Thanks!

Well, 7. Bxf6 doesn't seem like a very good move, at least strategically. You've sacrificed two pawns to get those well developed bishops, so why trade one off like that? 7. e5 seems kind of sticky after 7. ...Ne4.

7... Ne4 is exactly why I played 7 Bxf6. I dont see a good why preventing that move. Any idea's.

Soyelkapo, I will look at your line when I get home. Thanks for posting!
