here's game I played from some training I was doing with a friend and afterwards I found out the the sacrifice has never been played. The game ended in a draw largely due to his time trouble but I didn't think my position was that bad in the final position anyway and my opponent had a respectable rating of 1600 so if there was a obvious tactic to beat I think he should have found it but non the less it was a very nice game thoughts and comment on this unusual gambit novelty.

I don't get the idea behind the sac. The black side has funny looking pawns and a vulnerable king, but white's lack of development means that black will probably be able to consolidate before things get too hot.

I dont like this at all, i think your opponent played it all wrong, and black can be totally fine without moving his king
I agree I missed that instead of ...Kf7 Be7+Nf6+0-0 seems to just be winning for black.

True, but 7...Kf7 is also winning without much trouble. In the final position, white is dead lost, e.g. 13...Bd6 followed by ...Ne7 is a piece down for absolutely nothing.

The opening is effectively a Vienna Gambit with colours reversed and White having an extra move thrown in. Given that the accepted response after 1.e4 e5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.f4 would be ...d5, it would seem that against this opening, white's logical answer is 4.d4!
Unfortunately I don't see how Black equalises. If he plays by analogy to the Vienna with fxe4 5. Nxe5 d5 6. Nxc6 (6.Qh5+ would be a mistake) bxc6 7. Qh5+ - whilst this might be playable, it's not much fun.
Against 4...exd4 both the simple 5.Nxd4 and the complicated 5.Ng5 should both be a fair bit better for White.
4.d4 is surely enough a strong move, and the quieter & easier to handle 4.d3! even stronger.
why is 4.d3 stronger ?

last post. woohoo
Because this is the way pieces are moving: White is protecting his only soft spot (e4), opens up the c1 bishop, and intends to follow up in straightforward fashion (0-0, Nc3 etc). Meanwhile, Black has his king stuck in the center, due to his dubious (to say the least) third move. His only active plan is waiting for white's short castle, and then push ...f5-f4, but this is quite dangerous for him due to the tempo down compared to the analogous king's gambit declined position ( 1.e4 e5 2.f4 Bc5 3.Nf3 d6 4.Nc3 Nf6 etc). Aren't that enough for you?
