Destroyed by a perfect game (I think)

I have had a running series of games with a player on this site and his play was so remarkably active and tight, I felt as if I had no chance whatsoever, even in the extremely sharp Najdorf lines I have been playing since I began! Having previously played the Poisoned Pawn Accepted against him, I felt it was prudent to try his hand in another variation that I am equally fluent in. Much to my dismay, I held on for dear life and was just ground into nothing. At every opportunity I felt he had countered my chances precisely.

Edit: At Move 26, the game continues in the bottom one. My bad, from memory.

Please help me improve my play. I don't want to be known for getting refuted twice.

In the top game, am I correct to say that white had # on moves 31/32 and did not take it with Qe8#?? Not to mention the # with Qd7# that was there for at least 10 moves??

I apologize, I have to edit the above game, i skipped a move in the middle.

Again, there is no way we missed a mate in 1, I just omitted the 26th move and annotated the game from memory.  I couldn't figure out what was off when I did the game, you guys helped point it out.

I would have to agree with 8dot8 in that He missed a checkmate in one for about 10 moves.  The game should have been over long before it actually was.
