sorry bro, but you got lucky.  But you shouldn't really be thinking that way... time is a vital part of the game.  If you set a clock at the start, you gotta finish before you're time runs out.  Period. You outplayed your opponent and won the game because you handled your clock better, and that counts just as much as the position on the board.

    He should've played 25 gf+.  If 25... Nxf7 26 Rgh5 causes problems, and if 25... Kh7 there's 26 Rhg1.

I know time is a factor and that I need to manage it well, though what I refered to was the quality of my opponent's moves.

I know my opponent made some mistakes, what I am looking for is improvement in my game. Looking at it now, 19... Ne6 would probably of sealed my material advantage with good prospects for an endgame. Anyhting you guys would like to add?

The final position isn't won, by any means, but black does have the advantage. The white passer on f7 is too well guarded, and the connect passed black pawns on e4 and d3 would eventually win if all the pieces came off the board. you could even give the exchange back and be objectively winning.

Note that if you trade your rooks for the rook, bishop, and f7 pawn, the h pawn would be decisive.

So I think you had it either way.

    Sure, 19... Ne6 looks good.

In the final position White pretty much has to play 30 c4 (otherwise 30... d5 with the idea of Rd6 will be strong).  Then Black presumably gets good winning chances by playing h5 and Rh8.

I'll go for 30. f3 or 30. c4. Her white Rook and Bishop is getting tight to support the pawn at f7.
