This guy gave me a beating with a 20+ memorized move sequence from the Ruy Lopez, so when I was white, I decided to take him out of the book on move 1.

Are you suggesting that he only won the Ruy game because of his opening knowledge?  (How did you check in between games anyway?)  But notice he was winning this game the entire time until you got his rook.

Outplayed for 40 moves and only managed to win after being a piece up huh?  Yep, this ugly win was definitely something to brag about in the forums.  Not only showing off your skills but your class too.  Well done.

I was never threatened the entire game... I played 14 and 17 knowing the consequences.
