Wow.

Some heavy counterattacking stuff.

I have no idea what really went wrong here.

I can suggest my own idea:

18...Qb6. How is white going to defend and prevent the opening of the b file? I can only see 19.b3 cxb3 20.Nxb3

But just looking at black's bishops, rook, and queen pointing on that white king seems to be much more intimidating than the white attack to me.

Still a long game to play though.

Perhaps 19...Rxb2 was a big blunder. No need for that, as black still has a good game by normal means: (19...Qb7 20. b3 Bxf6). I still like black's position better.

The sac seems to have been a miscalculation, that's all. I don't see anything that works after those sacrifices on the queenside.

Very nice game upto there I think. I wouldn't have played it any better, anyway:)

19...Rxb2+ was the unsound sac which cost the game. Correct here was 1st 19...Qb7! which would have won.

The opening is faulty: 7.Qd2? is an error in the Najdorf, 7...h6 8.Bh4 Nxe4! etc.

This works in the Najdorf because b5 is forbidden to the white knights, unlike in the 2...Nc6 lines.
