For my fellow Patzers . . .

For those among us who enjoy annotated games -hopefully that's most of us in this thread-  I've started a blog annotating in painful detail (excruciating, actually ) some of my recent misadventures.  These are all games played online, either here on on ICC, at slow time controls.

My hope is that others can learn from my mistakes and not have to repeat them.  Of course, the main thing is to learn from them myself, but I can't seem to get the hang of that.

Here are links to the first two blogs.  There are plenty of side variations with their own notes that only appear if you click on the variations and play through them.

Any and all constructive criticism greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

This game is a QGA that is fairly close for a long time, but I foolishly played for what I thought was a drawn position and it turns out the position was dead lost. After 33. f4! the win was trivial for White.  Ouch.

This one is a Slav where I won a pawn and was getting the upper hand after 30 moves only to lose it all by overlooking a back rank mate threat that wound up costing me a piece.   My clock was gettiing low (under 4 minutes to go) but that's not an excuse.
