This was probably my most fun game ever.  I got to sacrifice material very early on for a positional advantange.  Please try to give input to help me figure out if it was a good idea. Thanks

You missed some good moves such as  6.Nb5 and 8.d5, the bishop sacrifice with 0-0-0 was decent but you had a better move in Qg6, 19Ne5 however was not justified, you give up too much material for that queen, 19.Rhe1 instead threatens all kinds of nasty stuff.

From move 23 onward black kept shuffling his pieces somewhat aimlessly and managed to throw away a drawn or maybe even slightly better position.

You also missed 55.Qxg7#

Thank you very much for the analysis.  I still have a lot to improve on.

I think you could won the game on move 14.

14. Nxe5! - if he takes the knight - 14...dxe5 he lose his queen - 15. Nf4+ and your rook takes his queen. if he don't take the knight then there is nothing he can do to prevernt 15. Qf7#
