Honestly, I always hate it when my opponent plays 1. d4. However, maybe because I read Bobby Fischer's "My 60 Memorable Games," I've decided to make the King's Indian Defense part of my opening repertoire. In this game, I used a free database as a guide as long as I could, and I bet that I started making mistakes soon after making my own moves (starting with 9...Ne7).
Anyway, you can tell that I can improve my opening, middle, AND endgame. I'm sure that my opponent and I both made plenty of mistakes, but I believe the middle and endgame were interesting and worthy of some comment. I posted the game with the board flipped, since I was black, but I let my opponent know that this game has been posted, so feel free to comment on how either one of us could have improved play.
I made a couple comments on moves that I thought I could have improved on. Your advice is appreciated! I still hate 1...d4, but I believe I'm starting to be able to play better against it. Thanks!

9...,Ne7 is not the best move. After you have moved 8...,Re8 9.d5,... your only move should be: 9...,Nd4!, and then 10.Nd4,ed4 11.Bd4,Ne4 with equal chances in Geller-Bronstein 1958.
If you play 9...,Ne7 you are in the main variation of the Classical KI, with a lost tempo, your rook is better in f8, helping the move f5, which is essential in that closed position.

White had an interesting possibility on his 19th move: 19 a5. Now if 19... Rxa5 20 Rxa5 (if White's king were on h2 he could win here with 20 Nxd6) Qxa5 21 Nxd6 and Black's center is about to topple over. Which leaves 19... Qa6, after which Black doesn't have too many options.
White may have played 19 Nd2 because he was concerned about the 19... Nxe4 20 Qxe4 Bf5 idea; however 20 Nc3 would win material.
