Don't stop thinking if your winning...
the person I just played dropped a queen early on so I though it would be an easy win, but I got ahead of myself and lost.

Grabbing the g2 pawn was a big mistake. When up that much the two main rules are develop to get your King in a safe place and simplify by exchanging material

Oh dear that was a terrible game indeed. I hope you learn well this game. Even when ur up and should win easy u have to make sure u don't let them out or give them any counter chances to get back into the games. It's what i remind myself every game i play when i am up in position or material or both.

It took me a moment to see why your opponent resigned (Anna) but I've got it now and feel a bit smart.

Lastwarrior- your game says, on-line game. Was it live - or actual correspondence? On move 11, did white take a pawn rather than, a queen for a knight?

You stole an edge pawn at the cost of development. That was a great game to illustrate the need to keep the pressure on you opponent.

well, experiences like this come and go, i have come to actualy be afraid of the opponent who is down in material (in fast time controls), as he is willing to do everything to pressure me and i am not willing to sacrifice the material i have worked hard to gain... so there is a problem, material vs. tempi...

What were the time controls?

White obviously won, but 11. Nxb5 is a massive blunder is it not?

I saw the mate just seconds after my last move of the game. That's what hurts the most.
