Sorry if this game is a silly or long post, I'm kinda new to the posting thing.  I'm curious about what everyone thinks of the game, and with the exception of the obvious mistake at the end, what I could have done differently to win.

This game was played against my dad, the person that helped to teach me the game as a child.  Now that I'm older and in college, we enjoy the opportunity to play one another on chess.com.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

well after move 4 you had an out...   Rd3 / now if Nxb5 you take the rook and still have an attack on the knight

I thought about that.  If I would have moved Rd3 he would have moved Nb5, taking my rook and gaurding his.
