I played a nice game against 2200 rated computer program called "parrot". It usually plays on FICS and usually has 20+ streak. I managed to make a draw!!! While the second time I played it I had King+Bishop vs. King+Rook for the prog endgame. I ran out of time.  Should it be a draw: ROOK vs. BISHOP??? Undecided

Here is another game I played against different prog VIKI: H E R E.

Any comments would be greatly appriciated, but please dont laugh! LoL

A very well played game however i think 25. Be3 was a waste of time, how about Rc5?

King + Bishop and King + rook is definitely a draw.  I learned this the hard way.  The rook king combo can not effectively work with the bishop giving interference.

Nice game.

Isn't the final position a clear win for white? You have the better passed pawn with 40. g4 fxg4 41. fxg4, after which you can trade your g-pawn for black's e-pawn and eat black's queenside pawns. If 40... f4, you have a connected passed pawn, and just going Kf2-e2-d3-e4 and taking the e5-pawn (or again trading it for your g-pawn) would also win.

So I'd say you drew in a clearly won position. So what you should do is study endgames and especially pawn endgames :)

And K+B vs. K+R is a draw if you can make it to a "right" corner in time. A right corner would be a corner which color is opposite of your bishop's color. So with a dark-squared bishop, you hide your king on h1, and repeat the moves Bh2-g1-h2-g1-h2-g1 all the time. The only way he can prevent your repetition is either by stalemating you or by putting a rook on the 1st rank with your B on g1. Then you can repeat Kh1-h2-h1-h2-h1 until you can move your bishop again and repeat Bg1-h2-g1-h2-...

I think I know why 21. Rd1 is not winning, but could somebody analyze it?
