    This is a game i played on pogo. It seemed like a good game that I thought was worth saving, though the last three moves were not sent to my email. Can you tell me if this game is won, lost, or drawn for me? I'm not to great, i know i had the better positional advantage but I'd just like some input. Thanks

    With the material disadvatage I think you needed to make the last attack count, although his king appears vulnerable at the end of it you looked likely to lose more material if anything.  After Nxa3 I couldnt see any counter for you so the draw was a good result in my opinion for you.

    Frankly, it's very difficult to analyze this kind of game. The logic behind most of moves is far beyond my understanding.

    "3. d4 She confused me with this. I wasn't sure how to counter it. Probably should have played Bd6."

    -> 3.d4 introduces the scotch game. The answer is 3...exd4 otherwise as in the game white plays d4-d5 gaining space and time by attacking the Nc6. Look at your Knight on e7 blocking your bishop.

    -> Why do you play 6...b6 ??

    "7. Bh4 Don't know why she played this."

    -> I thought she played it in order to take your e5 pawn. But she didn't...don't know why.

    Sorry, I prefer to stop here. I find it too much illogical.Sealed

    Maybe if you comment all your moves...

    At move 11 your position is bad, but you don't need to give up a piece.

    After 25. Nxa3, white has two pieces more than black and will be able to win even with less than expert play.
