In this game, I should have lost. I was blinded to the fact that I probably should have lost this game, but at the point where I had f-file triple pawns defended by two bishops, and a rook on e6, against a Queen, Rook, and pawns, I wonder if I might have had an advantage?

21.Rf3 is not necessary Simple plan is Ne4-Nf6, Follow by Qh4-g5, Then Sack bishop on g6, Follow by c4 with a mating attack. This plan will be difficult to carry out if black spots it but At least his counterplay is kept undercontrol.
So at move 20. White is clearly better.

First off, I think there probably are some more clear-cut options for you on move 24. You are after all a piece up, with a great attack to boot. 24 g4 suggests itself--as does 24 Bb5 Rd8 25 Rc1 to push his queen even farther away, and then if 25... Qb7 26 Nd6. The good thing about having him capture on d6 is that it opens the line for your QB--although like you said that pawn on f6 can indeed exert quite an influence as well.
Speaking of which...I think on move 26 you had the option of 26 f5, which looks quite interesting. It is very complicated indeed--but his undeveloped bishop seems to hang him up much of the time. There's basically two ideas I can see for him: either he plays 26... e4 right away, or 26... Qc5+ first:
26... e4 27 Bxe4 Rxe4 28 Rc3 Qb7 (28... Rc4 29 Rxc4 Qxc4 30 Rd8+ Kh7 31 fg+ fg 32 Rh8+ Kxh8 33 f7+ Kh7 34 f8/Q; 28... Qf4--the toughest defense--29 Rd8+ Kh7 30 fg+ Kxg6 31 Qg3+ looks like it will end up winning the bishop on c8) 29 Rd8+ Kh7 30 fg+ fg 31 Rcxc8.
26... Qc5+ 27 Kh1 e4 28 Bxe4 Rxe4 29 Qg3 Qc2 30 Rd8+ Kh7 31 fg+ fg 32 Rh8+ Kxh8 33 f7+ Kh7 34 f8/N+ followed by 35 Qxg6 mate.
Of course, you might well want to run everything through a machine (to make sure I didn't overlook anything too terribly hideous). Anyway, all of this proves that it helps a lot to be a piece up from the start!
Looks like you were right about 33... Rg1+. It would've ended the game quickly: 34 Kh3 Qf2 35 f5 Qg2+ 36 Kh4 g5+ 37 Kxh5 Qh3 mate.
"Good niiight"? Oh brother. I've had those kind of opponents before (it's unfortunately a feeling almost as familiar as that chill you described when you hang something--with me it usually goes down my back as well as hands). Good thing you beat him!
I think after 42... Kh8 43 f7 he would be dead in the water regardless--he only has a couple spite checks left. But you could've ended it even quicker with 42 f7+ Kf8 43 Bd6+ and mate next move.
Needless to say, a very interesting game!
