Dont get me wrong... there were plenty of blunders made on both sides. This was by no means a GM game ;) hahah.
I didnt annotate each move because of time constraints, but hopefully you all get the jist of what I was or was not thinking.
The part that I was proud of was the mate obviously.... This is also due to the fact that I was down material for a majority of the game, but I chose to play it through and it paid off with a somewhat clever little mate at the end... I wonder if my opponent saw it coming?

Enjoy... comments appreciated.

After move 5, you gotta exd5 if you dont want to start losing material...and your opponent seems to be too consumed with his queen aspirations, grats on victory.

Next time you shouldn't lose to much material cause your next oponent might not have made those same mistakes. It's allways good to have material advantage.

I was confused in the opening. Why would you lose material. Thats not the objective of the opening to lose material. I would of finished you off.

Nice mate at the end, but if I can suggest it, please read the forum guidelines before posting your games in the future. It's one thing not to annotate every move, and entirely another to not annotate anything. You're as much as saying "I'm too lazy to analyze this, go to it and do all my work for me, my army of chess minions!" It's a bit rude. Just so you know.

I definitely wasnt trying to be lazy or rude... I just didnt have a lot of time to enter the game, and I wanted to be sure I could finish it,  so I didnt bother with annotations.... I would have gladly annotated it if I had more time.
My sincere apologies, and I will post no more games without at least some annotations.

In fact, if I can figure it out and have some time, I might go back and annotate this game.

That happened to me today also - I lost an annotated game that I'd spent a lot of time on. It was weird - when I inserted the game it appeared on the left hand side of the screen, then I clicked refresh, and poof, it was gone.

Frustrating indeed.

i didnt even refresh the page... i just went through the steps.... previewed it (where it worked fine) and then I hit insert, and all it did was exit the game creator and give me a blank reply box....

I thought maybe it was just loading the game into my reply box(since I put like a million annotations in it, i figured it might take a while) but I waited and waited, and nothing happened...

I actually tried TWICE just for the heck of it, but it keeps screwing up.

I will try to do it right the first time next time.

Silentmp, nobody ever claimed they could beat you, so don't say things like"I'll finish you off!"

And Absurd, I don't think he meant that at all.

Bassthumper, it's a real drag, but I think you'd have to resubmit the game to add annotations given the forum's current setup for dealing with PGNs. To avoid that trouble, I personally use WinBoard to annotate games. The program writes the annotations directly to the PGN file the game is stored in, so when you import the game, the annotations get imported with it. I recommend that setup so that you don't lose any of the annotations that you would otherwise add on site if something goes wrong.

I agree with him.  These move-sets were designed to enable you to obtain some material and/or geographical advantage if successful.  On top of that, the trade-offs made during the game are pretty questionable.  I suppose it works only if the skill levels are relatively similar; however, there's a lot of room for improvement.  Please provide better annotations so that we know what you're thinking about when you make any seemingly rash trade-offs.
