Enjoy... comments appreciated.
hmm.... i tried to re post the whole game with comments on every move, but when i hit "insert" I lost it!!!
what gives? I spent a long time on that!!!
well, maybe next time.... sorry guys
That happened to me today also - I lost an annotated game that I'd spent a lot of time on. It was weird - when I inserted the game it appeared on the left hand side of the screen, then I clicked refresh, and poof, it was gone.
Frustrating indeed.
i didnt even refresh the page... i just went through the steps.... previewed it (where it worked fine) and then I hit insert, and all it did was exit the game creator and give me a blank reply box....
I thought maybe it was just loading the game into my reply box(since I put like a million annotations in it, i figured it might take a while) but I waited and waited, and nothing happened...
I actually tried TWICE just for the heck of it, but it keeps screwing up.
I will try to do it right the first time next time.
Silentmp, nobody ever claimed they could beat you, so don't say things like"I'll finish you off!"
And Absurd, I don't think he meant that at all.
Bassthumper, it's a real drag, but I think you'd have to resubmit the game to add annotations given the forum's current setup for dealing with PGNs. To avoid that trouble, I personally use WinBoard to annotate games. The program writes the annotations directly to the PGN file the game is stored in, so when you import the game, the annotations get imported with it. I recommend that setup so that you don't lose any of the annotations that you would otherwise add on site if something goes wrong.
I agree with him. These move-sets were designed to enable you to obtain some material and/or geographical advantage if successful. On top of that, the trade-offs made during the game are pretty questionable. I suppose it works only if the skill levels are relatively similar; however, there's a lot of room for improvement. Please provide better annotations so that we know what you're thinking about when you make any seemingly rash trade-offs.
