My game against Rybka 2.2 Of course I lost the game but I swear I had at least draw untill 33rd move. I want to share the game with you, my thoughts during the game and in your opinion any suggestions what and at what point of the game i could done better so I can use it in some next game. Thank you.
Sharsan
well, in my opinion I think you could move:
20.bxc5
31.h5
20...b:c I didnt play for two reasons. First i dont think i could deffend that pawn long and another reason was i wanted to exchange as many pieces i could
Vaaelenko
maybe as I see 8-a3 wasn't correct this move is ok but in fact it's waste of time instead of a3 if you played Bd3 or Rc1 or Rd1 it's gonna be better than a3
hmmmm another better move is instead of playing 11-Bd3 you should play e4 leading for lot of lines and the most plausible move for black is Nxc3 leading to bxc3 Nb6 or Nf6
you are black !!!!!!!!! I thought you was white here :D
well, he was playing black
Yes i agree with you about that move, and maybe you didnt look in my comments I expected it to play 8. Rc1 or Bd3
hahaha yes i was black, because i wanted to try something in french defence but it played 1. d4 :-)
lol
Btw, you've unearthed one of the great secrets to playing against the computer: Find a totally dry position, trade down, and you'll be hard to beat. The computer doesn't know enough about chess to complicate the game, it will only play "best" moves without regard to whether they have any chance of actually winning.
The top players use engines to unearth the truth behind complicated lines and spring these on their opponents in tournaments such as Wijk aan Zee. Levon Aronian tends to play solid, safe lines as Black, just as you did here.
Thank you, this means a lot to me!
