It was due to a lot of blunders. I would love your feedback. Thanks! (yes, I'm a beginner)

I've found that never really changes. Even comments from tournament masters tend to say "I was the second to last and not the last to blunder so that's why I've won". I've played chess off and on for about 20 years and I'm still a beginner who doesn't really know chess. A win is a win and a learning experience like your losses. It's up to you what you can and do make of this beginning

On move one, 1... e5 control better the center and doesn't block your light squared bishop, Your oppenent gave you control of the center, take it.

3... I like d5 better, control the center better and if you had done 1... e5 you would have 2 central pawns and a very good control of the center. and both your bishops would be free to enter the game immediately if needed.

7... g6 is a very weakening move. You open up a diagonal to your king for his dark bishop, you weaken h6 and f6 and you do not even have a dark square bishop to control these squares, which would have been sitting on g7 before your king castle. Avoid moving the pawns in front of the king with the exception of h6 and a6 to prevent a piece at g5 or b5, these two pawn move are not weakening under certain circumstances.

12... Nd4 your bishop is hanging.

13...Nc2+ his rook was hanging you could have taken it. It also loses a knight for no reason if you do not take the rook, after which black will have 2 minor pieces for that rook.

14... Qe5 his rook is still hanging

16... Ba2 loses the bishop when you could still take the rook.

19... Bxd5 is better than exd5 because it gets your bishop out of jeopardy.

20... exd5 is good because it opens a file for your rook.

You should play against stronger opponents who will make you pay for your mistakes because if you play against someone who will not see them, chances are you won't either and you won't learn from what you don't notice.

Manipulated, thanks for your analysis, I wasn't playing against a stronger player because instantchess.com selects opponents randomly, and I know his rook was hanging the whole time, I just didn't want to simultaneously lose my bishop and develop my opponent's. Thanks again.
