Hi all, I recently played a nice game against my uncle, in which I began showing him an interesting position on the Najdorf, and it turned into a fully fledged chess game in our own kitchen!
When the game began to get interesting, I started recording it and got a chess clock, and gave us an hour to complete the game.
So, here's the game. I was playing black.

I think you played well, but I think f4 is better than an early Qf3 by a mile. I think white could have played better though in the kingside attack, as he didn't really do much ther, you know?
IM pfren
7.Qf3 has been played several hundred times, so it can't be bad... OK, it may look somewhat weird, but it does have the idea of quick queenside castling. GM Shabalov has picked a lot of fat scalps by the even more weird 7.Qe2!?, and GM Czebe has succesfully used 6.Qe2!? as well.
What is surely wrong is 9.Nb3? which simply misplaces the knight. White should continue consistently 9.Be2 or 9.g4!? with a game of chess ahead.
I think 10...b5 is better than 10...Ne5, butr it's probably just a matter of taste- both moves are logical.
The problem with the c4 outpost idea is tactical, and linked with that e4-e5 idea. After 14.Nd2! Black has a few problems to solve.
15...Rb8 is looking OK, but factly it is a wrong move: white's last has created some nasty Nd5/Nf5 ideas, which should be met by 15...h6! and fast castling. The difference with the game is that after 15...h6 16.Bxf6 Bxf6 17.e5 is not dangerous due to 17...de5 18.fe5 Bg5+
As played, 16.Bxf6! gxf6 (15...Bxf6? 16.e5 is now almost losing for Black) 17.Qg7 Black has to live with his king stuck on e8, which is not really fatal, but certainly highly unpleasant.

Fritz 13 - Full Analysis (15 seconds per move)
IM prfen and Takuya, your comments are much appreciated.
I think the fritz analysis is mostly right, but I'm uncertain why 12. Nc4 is a weak move, I really didn't see the problem with it. I gues though whites Re7 was a weak move, and really did cost him the game. And now that I think about it, Nb3 really does misplace the knight, as it kind of does nothing out on b3.
Thanks again
17.h5 Re8 (so that h5-h6 can be answered by g7-g6), and I think Black has no serious problems. Maybe the sharp 17...Qb6 is OK too, counting it needs some time, though.
