nope
It might be possible, from what I see, black has the pawn advantage so after queens and a rook or two are traded, I see black winning, but white has a chance of escaping this situation...maybe
I'm sure white can easily escape mate!
How lol?
I don't see a forced mate. I think black is better, but his king isnt safe either, and if he tries too hard for a forced mate that doesn't exist, he could lose.
I know you said it's black's turn, but I couldn't help but notice the turn-of-events depending on who moves first:
1. exd5+ Kd7; 2. dxc6+ Kxc6; 3. Rac1+ Qc2; 4. Rxc2+ Bc4; 5. Qxc4+ Kb7; 6. Re7+ Ka8; 7. Qc8+ Rxc8; 8. Rxc8#
Black, on the other hand, has to save the king and doesn't win quite as directly:
1. ... Kd7; 2. Kf2 Rh2+; 3. Ke3 (Nxh2 Qxh2+; 4. Ke3 Rh3#) Qh3; 4. Qxh8 Qxh8; 5. Nxh2 d4+; 6. Kf3 Qh3+; 7. Kf2 Qxh2+; 8. Kf3 Qh3+; 9. Kf2 Qxg4; 10. Rad1 Qxf4+; 11. Kg2 c5 and black wins no matter what white does.
Easy when just use your multiple computer programs.
The answer is no whites cant escape this one.I was in a bit of a rush may have done something wrong
@anonymous100 3. Ng5+
also i think that since black cant force mate, white will gain better material with its onslaught on the black's king but then again im noob and can't see that far ahead ^^
pretty sweet game! i want to get into that position as white! lol
hehe, as I hinted earlier but didnt give the move, I think black will get mated if he plays 2.Qh3. 2...Ng5+ would actually be a mistake since it only draws.
ManicDragon: not sure what happens though if White plays 2 Rad1 (after 1... Kd7).
both face the dangerous situation regardless who move first...
no, white can´t escape this one!
If I was white with black to move, I doubt I could escape it.
White can escape an immediate mate.
To Anonymous: 3.exd5! and the tables have turned.
I think black can still win in eight or so moves, depending on what white does. That bishop on a6 seems to force white to have move his king away from the h-file, first. Is there anything missing from this line?
1. ... Kd7; 2. Rad1 Rh2+; 3. Kg1 Qh3 and I don't think white can prevent mate without sacrificing the heavy pieces. There's nothing incredibly forcing for black, unlike if it were white's turn.
Hmn I have realised a mistake and I may soon make a puzzle for whites or blacks to solve based on this.Oh and knight G5= possible mate lol
