I just played this game as black against an opponent of an equal rating.  I thought things were grim after losing my rook, but I was able to capture his queen.  White had a passed pawn with two rooks supporting it, but I feel I handled it well.  Please share ideas on my play and what i could have done better.

4. ... Bd7 doesn't score well; consider 4. ... g6.

32. ... Rxa1!, and 39. ... Qf1#, but nice win in any case.

White's 10.d4 was just a bad move, he could have maintained a nice position with any normal move. he just lost a pawn.  You took it, GOOD!

 

There are many small errors after that, but the next really huge blunder you see for yourself, it's 23...Rbb8.

 

lucky you, your opponent didn't see that 25.Nd7 wins a lot more. You only lost the exchange in the game (a rook for a minor piece). 25. Nd7 would have just cost you a whole rook for nothing.

 

And he's in a better position, until he makes the decisive Qe2 error.

After that, white gets no more shots at your position:) it's over.
