Loss in highly tactical Benoni: Sacrifice met with counter-sacrifice

I just lost this game playing the Benoni Defence. I'd reached a very solid position before my sacrifice, and I think I should have been more patient in preparing for the attack. Fact is, I'd seen the counter-sacrifice, but just hadn't expected it quite so soon!

 

Anyway, here's the game. Any comments appreciated (especially as to how the sacrifice could have worked, if at all).

I'm in favor of 22... Nxe3.  I can't imagine White surviving that position (after 23 fe Bxg3).

Yes I think you're right. I thought about that, but just liked the look of having a knight on e3, and White's pieces completely passively tied up. Obviously, in retrospect that gave him time to play Nxb5 and turn the tables.
