My thoughts are that you gain nothing by playing such games... rather the opposite.
he means to say that playing against a computer wont help you do anything except for learn not to hang pieces.
It is demoralizing to get crushed in such a manner.
Morever, as humans can never play like computers, there is little to learn from its manner of handling the game, except tactical patterns.
There is a reason why most players analyse with computers rather than play head-on against them.
No, you you won't learn a thing playing against a strong engine.For sure.
You'd rather play several games against a player about your strength, and then analyse them for errors- both yours, and your opponents. Analyse WITHOUT engine aid.
Engine usage is suitable only for professionals- for weak amateur players, it's a disease.
