I ran into some difficulty with the French Defense Winawer Poisoned pawn variation, how is it supposed to be played ?
I think you shouldn't have played Qxg7 (I'm not familiar with the French, so I might be wrong).
I was using the black pieces. I ran into trouble in the middle game and had to change Queens. The exchanges were equal and black had a better pawn stucture, then I lost the knight during time pressure, although I think I should have played Qc7 before moving one of the knights. I am just wondering if there are better plans for black in that position, because the game could easily have been equal.
please pick mine! It is a beautiful game with pins!!!!!
Here's one of my best games with a pretty crazy king evacuation
Here's a really good vote chess game that just ended--Opening Experts v. Endgame Experts.
P.S. It got to an interesting endgame.
OK, you are about to see a bunch of Member Analysis videos coming up over the next couple weeks (analyzed mainly by GMs Bojkov and Dzindzi)!!! I hope you guys enjoy them... Please post more games as you see fit :-)
I like Qh6-f4-h6 manouver in this game to weaken kingside.
I found this game of mine at a tourney a few months back rather fascinating, though it's full of blunders.

A couple of interesting games here (<1800 level)
I'd love to have this game analysed. In my head its possibly the best game I've played, would like someone to confirm my thinking or whether I'm way off!
I've put a couple of comments in to explain why I did a few moves
An OTB game against a much higher rated player. I didn't play the opening too superbly (I think), but managed to get into an even middlegame (I think) and drawish endgame (I think). Unfortunately, my endgame technique is abysmal...
My painful OTB loss in 2hr time controls to a 1915 (about 600 points higher than me)
I'd like some help with this game, specially in the Endgame.
I gotta new one for ya Danny. Still against Fritz 12 but this one was better...since I won
