I did, however, want to expand on your question by posting the following game between GM Alterman and Deep Fritz, which employed a very interesting strategy to beat a computer. Check out the position especially after White's 26th move:
oh my god.....after move 26 ! All of white's pawn is on the 4th rank! I never seen anything like this. Thanks for showing it.
