You moved the wrong knight on move 7.
11. Nxd6 wins an extra pawn.
26. I don't really know what you were thinking. Got bored of that rook?
You should look over your games yourself and analyse before posting, you should be able to spot these hanging pieces.
But 35. Kxd4 is a less obvious mistake, you give him Nf6+ and an attack on your bishop with check.
Or even as late as 53. If he plays Ke6 it's an easy win.
60... Kh4 wins too.
3. ... g5 screams for 4. Nxe5 or 4. Nxg5.
7 ...The result will be the same
11 ...White king is in check so Nxd6 is wrong
My analysis is in my post . I don't post just for these hanging pieces.
26 . Here you're right , Scot
I didn't , becuse I would exit in advantage
ex.35 .. Nf6 36 ..Ke5 Rd5 37 ...Nxg4 Kxd5
53....Ke6 54.. Kc6 Nf6 55...Kc5 Nxg4 56...Kd4 Kf5 57... Kd3 Ne5+ 58...Ke3 Nc4+ 59 ...I think you see where is going
60....g3 61 ..Kf3 ...now 2 var :
1 . Kh4 61..Ke2 g2 62...Kf2 g1 to queen 63..Kxg1
2. Kh4 61..Kg2
Maarten , to lose a knight for nothing ?
This game made me so happy.
The result wouldn't be the same, there was no need to lose a knight.
The white king isn't in check at move 11, I don't see how Nxd6 fails.
Your analysis on 53 isn't the best moves for black. After Ke6 he just walks over and takes the white pawn and promotes. If he needs to gain opposition he makes a knight move.
60...Kh4 61. Ke2 isn't possible.
60...Kh4 61. Kg2 also isn't possible.
After Kh4 black would definitely be promoting.
60 .. Is from Kf3
Black played g3 on move 60, I'm saying he should play Kh4.
both players made horrible counting mistakes... but no need to lose the knight by black at the end
Follow up with Qh5+ Ke7 Qxg5+ and Qxe5. You get 3 pawns for the knight and the black king will feel very uncomfortable.
Also, don't ask for analysis from higher-rated players only to talk to them as if they're idiots afterwards.
Oh... Magister64. You are so amusing. Good luck with Chess =)
I love this guy.
I'm deeply sorry if i ofended you , but I didn't intent it . I thought that the exchange is non-profit on my part .
Thank you for your opinion
Especially being given that almost than half the moves are blunders... Please don't give clear-cut analysis with your game if you're not sure of it. (and please don't be sure of it at your level !)
Deep analysis will be worth nothing as long as you hang pieces or fail to take enemy's hanging pieces. This happens at (white) moves 7, 26, 27,
35 (because if Black plays 35...Nf6+ you lose the bishop),
46 (although the fact that, despite your analysis, 46.bxc7 Rf8 and the pawn is stopped and White is lost : if needed Black sacrifices the rook on the pawn to prevent promotion, while the king gets to g4, and the resulting king+pawn vs. king is won)
You need to be way more humble in your annotations. This includes 'a resignation would be suited here' in your (flawed) line : sorry to say that, but although I would do it every day against someone of my ability, I will never resign a rook vs. queen endgame (even with pawns) versus someone that played the game you posted. I would want to check you are not going to leave the queen hanging.
King and Queen vs King and Rook isn't easy to win at all against good defence. I'm fairly sure I couldn't do it against a strong player in a lot of positions, although I'd do it from the book position. With an extra pawn I honestly may be playing for the draw with the queen.

Without pawns, I know by experience that's not so obvious against 'best defense' (which you can only expect from a computer) . But in the final position the OP gave in his line, I could almost win blindfolded against Carlsen.
It's actually a book draw.
Sorry, I thought there was one more pawn left on a2. (in which case I maintain my claim).
But anyway, you're right in that black certainly wouldn't want to resign there!
Don't let these guys get you down man. I love watching that game. I was actually glued to my computer trying to figure out how the devil it would end in a draw. Just read up on tactics and basic strategy and you should be solid. When I came to the realization that sacrificing pieces for no real gain is a bad idea it transformed my game. good luck buddy!
