My first tournament victory in about 6 months!!! :D.
The game above me is a very close game at the end. I wound up losing my queen but then I evened up the game when I forked the player's queen and king with a pawn defended by a knight in a check. He took back with the queen and I took the queen with the knight. The king took back and then I took black's pawn on c5 and then black resigned.
Game 6 was nearly an upset but you pulled through and with a strong performance at that. Good Job. Keep it Up. Hope you win more.
Hey there. Thank you. I know right. My adrenaline was pulsing through my veins the entire time and I wasn't even thinking about winning or losing. I wasn't thinking about which moves to make or which moves to watch out for. I was seeing the game in its entity and I was seeing all the possible moves in a blink of an eye. I was playing on reflex and instinct. I don't know how I even managed to come back after all that but all I know was that it was very nearly an upset. Thank you for those kind words :). Something has changed in my chess game and I don't know what it is. I went from losing many games to winning now. I'm not going to try to figure it out though lol.

In the first round of an OTB tournament, both my opponent and I were down to two minutes, so we both began moving crazy fast. Luckily, it was a won endgame for me. However, I can assure you that the amount of adrenaline you've felt coursing through you duirng that online blitz tournament pales in comparison to what I felt during the last two minutes of that game (there was no increment either).
I think its slightly rude of you too say how my adrenaline rush pales in comparison to yours in your game. You might have had an adrenaline rush but you don't have to use terms like pales in comparison. That is rude in some ways.
Also considering I have not won a tournament in 6 months. This is a major milestone for me in my chess career. I was close to giving up but I didn't. I pulled through and I regained my footing.
I mean no harm in any way. If I have offended you, I'm sorry.
I was merely trying to share a similar experience, and I guess I went overboard with what I said. Also, your tournament was online and mine was OTB, so they may not even be comparable.

I don't know who to agree with on this one. Yes I feel that OTB tournaments are more prone to having more energy use and more excitment in games but I also feel that a victory after 6 months is pretty good. Vulpes_Vulpes. I am on your side on this one. No offense to GokuDawnOfLegends who it seems has deleted his or her account it seems. I don't like it when people make forums and then the maker just runs away.
Here are the 6 games in the 3 minute blitz tournament that I played in. I had a perfect 6-0-0 victory :). Tell me your thoughts of these games.
