He/she may have been playing weak, but I felt like I made the right moves all considering.....what do you think?

I am pretty new at the game, but I know that pawns are stronger when they are at diagonals to each other (so they can protect each other) than when they are lined up on the same rank.  White's first few moves probably hurt her/his later chances for good position.  I think white's Nxe5 (move 18) was a big mistake, too.  But like I said, I'm still learning the game, too!

early play could be imported for both sides a lot of missed opportunities to win tempi & pawns. I did like your finish from move 24 on, very good!

PS: chessmess: pawns are considered stronger when there on the same rank, in the starting position the pawn formation is perfect, but there are other factor in a chess game which make you ruin the pawn formation early.
