Hello, please have a look at this game I had with a computer. I am a very low rated player, and a beginner. and please makr me suggestions on my appauling endgame. In the end I won, but I believe I made many mistakes, and so did black, and I just can't spot them that well....

Constructive criticism is always welcome.

And please excuse the way I used the symbols after the moves, I'm only starting....

Thank You. :)

Those well planned and coriagraphed moves look more like an intermediate player in the least.  That was fun to look at.

21. ....Rxe1??

After 21 ....qxg7 22. bxc8, rxc8

Black has 2 pawns and 2 minor pieces for the exchange(although the white rook does hold the open file and the black h pawn is weak).  Black has much better chances in this line than the other it seems.

You played the endgame great(although I think with best play it should have been drawn) as well as the rest of the game

36.b-a6+?

black should play h-5 and after k-f5 one of the white pawns will fall.  If r-g1 white can capture the f4 pawn and the bishop can still cover g8 in time(which also covers a key b3 square).  The king can't come to support the pawns because otherwise one of the black pawns will queen.  So you would essentially be going into a bishop vs. rook endgame.  Of course I could be wrong as usual.

 Thank you for your analysis.

Yes it seems that 21 ....Qxg7 is better for Balck.

And your analysis for 36.....h5 looks like it works as well.

7. e5... knight would have to be placed in a horrible position... ...Ng4 8. h3 Nh6, and kngiht on the sides suck...

Also note. that 25. QxN is a bit worse than QxB... but your statement was reasonable... I still say that in andgame, bishop is worth far more... Lol the queen still took the pawn...

i think that 31. Ke3 was an inacurracy... my opinion only... i think that Kg3 would be a much better move, though your king still can move the the center more...

On move 44. you had the game in your hand... very nice... please excuse me of my earlier rude comment, i didnt look at the game more carefully...

7.e5  and blacks position is far from horrible.  the knight can go to d-7 just like in the french and play na5-f4 and c5 or even q-c8 and b-a6 trading off bishops with the same idea of c5 later on.

Don't get me wrong.  I am not saying black is winning in that position.  Just that it is VERY playable

well I'm rated 1500 and you're rated 1900, and you consider yourself a beginner... :)

And I don't think my moves are THE best, maybe inaccuracies...

But thank you for your compliment

ummm I forgot what it's called. It's not commonly used, but it is sometimes used. I'll get back to you once I find out.

13. bxc3?!: Why not Qxc3

Apart from that, your combinational play was really good.

I played 13. bxc3!? so that I can play 14. c4 I wanted to get rid of his centre pawn in exchange for my c pawn...

Exchanging the bishop for a knight and then locking out the dark squares with 9. E5 was really slick. Good game.

Haha 'slick' is a beautiful word. Thank you for your compliment. Some analysis computers don't like me having an advanced pawn at the beginning of the game, but I thought that was a good move as well.
