Hey - this is my most recent game and I'm pretty pleased with it, though I know it's not perfect. All comments and advice is welcomed. I played white.

    12. ... Qc7 is a trap.

    Not really much to add.

Move 40. Rxe5 to chain up the rooks followed by 41. Qg6 to freeze the g-pawn. Now you'd be able to shift your attacks between the 7th and 8th.

Hey thanks for the comments - 40.Rxe5 is better now that I see it. I was trying for Rb7, followed by some rook swaps and the lazy mate with my extra queen

Hey!! As a complete duffer - it is good to see that goodish players still fall for the oldest trick in the book - the knight fork K&Q - this gives me some hope for the future.... even i could win from a queen up - it is stealing the queen i am finding a tad more difficult.. but hey!! good stuff, again i would have swapped rooks at the earliest opportunity and taken an easy, boring win - if there is such a thing...?? cheers frae bonnie scotland

Yeah, after 13. Q*R, looking at Kn c6 and then the even trade of the queen for both rooks.

Yeah, it wasn't a very good trap, but i guess the opponent valued the queen more than two rooks.

If the trap is accepted my fork at e5 still stands and I win material.

After the trap, what about Ndb4 attacking the black queen?
