i played a game were my opponent made no move what so ever, nor did they even show up to the game, i was playing black peices, and i won on time. Making it the shortest game based on the # of moves

OTB tournament, right?  Bobby Fischer forfeited the second game of the world championship in 72 due to not showing up.  The rules stated that if he didn't show up after 2 hours, it would be forfeited.  Did your game have something like that, or was it like a blitz game?

I think he meant by checkmate, because anyone can easily resign or lose on time on the first move.

Yes, the opening for me wasn't exactly great, but this was a fun 1 hour game.
