uh oh. where did my game board go? i hope this is just a problem with my browser. if not, disregard this post and i will renote my game at a later time.
There is no game board; sorry. :(
You have overlooked 32. ...Qe1 33. Kh2 Qe5+ 34. g3 Qe2+ 35. Kg1 Qe1+ 36. Kg2 Qe2+ 37. Qf2! Qxe6 and the endgame remains difficult, though it favors White because of your weak, broken, isolated pawns. Unless you happen to be an adept at rook-pawn endgames, against a player of this level of skill you were probably doomed, so rest easy in your mind about the resignation. But in the future watch out for this particular perpetual-check pattern; it is a standard one that arises surprisingly often, and usually the opponent does not have a conveniently placed queen to stop it.
