So it's awful lol. Seems like you need to go back to the basics - making a move which loses a knight for nothing is a bad move.
I meant to look for any safe bishop move --- then it transposes back into the dragon mainline with 2 moves wasted. Is Bc1 even safe ?
I was playing a game as Black in that variation after being challenged by a certain poster here, but unfortunately this game will never finish: the opponent just got banned by Chess.com.
