I played this game in my first correspondence match, and was pleased to see that my opponent played a line of the Sicilian Dragon which, I find, gives white great chances. I had played a game in the same line against an FM(so he claims) and won, leading me to think that the line wasn't played at all by top players- untrue. When I checked the opening database, there were over 2,000 master games to choose from that contained blacks aggressive 9th move. Didn't intend to lull you to sleep with my sopoforic prose- here is the line I think you will enjoy.

Nice win, that's why I prefer the Accelerated, less risky.  Nice simplification & win.  And thanks for joining the team! Smile

Very nice game.  I think it shows a very good example of how to win two rooks against queen.  Excellant endgame.

Hi, you dont have to play f3 in the dragon, because  after 6.Be3, Ng4 loses the knight

The line you played used to be the main line, now it is 9.Bc4.
