cxd5 doesn't save a piece.
Strange computer analysis
Sort:
Wow, next time try posting the game with the moves and variations!
Very difficult to read and decipher.
Thanks, cave.
This was my first posting of a game and analysis and I will learn how to edit it downward.

Click the chessboard icon -> Game or sequence of moves -> PGN file and paste the analysis.
This was a blitz game (5 min per) and the computer analysis at a certain point seems 'off' to me. As white, once ahead, I began to trade down, but computer said "blunder"...but my more relevant question is in the position where I played d5 attacking the Bishop on e6.
Why would the computer tell black to ...0-0 rather than c x d5 saving a piece??
I should have played 15. d5, but made an error. In the computer analysis, it showed that had I played 15. d5, the response should have been 15...0-0 and not c x d5. I don't understand why.
perhaps I am mis-reading the analysis?
thanks!
