    steven71998 (White 1279) vs QinShiHuangdi (Black 1047)

QinShiHuangdi here...The one and only true ruler of China. This game ladies and gentlemen will give you some insight into why I choose to play the noble game of chess and have stopped playing XBox Live and PS online. It's the high you get after a checkmate that was proceeded by smack talk and jibber jabber in the chat room. This game is a classic. It should be on ESPN Classic. I love it. I will ad some of my own commentary but I need the higher level players to tell me how to increase my skills and make my killings on the glorious 64 squares more brutal, devastating, and efficient.

Not to bust your bubble my friend, but there were numerous mistakes throughout the game by both sides.  Such as on move 6 you should have just taken his black bishop with your pawn and simple things like that occured through-out the game.  Nice win and congrats to that but not exactly something you should go crazy about and brag on.

In response to 10.. Bxf3, Qxf3 was better (gxf3 just messes up O-O); Kxd1 is bad, but since it's pointless to castle for White anyway... Rxd1 is still quite a bit better; In response to 17.Bg6, hxg6 was much better; you finally developed your King's knight at move 21 - get knights out much earlier! The mistake was responding to 4. Bg5 with f6; better is Be7 Bxe7+ Qxe7 followed by Nf6 and O-O. Also as ChessGod pointed out, 5..fxg5 is better than 5..Be6 (it's a free bishop). 63...Rb8??? is terrible - after Rxb8 Kxb8, the King can simply march down the b-file and promote the passed c-pawn.

Around move 43-47 the board is in the exact same position 3 times in a row.
