#sigh# Might have to get a new laptop... this one is looking a bit worse for wear after I punched it a few times... think I'm going to go for a calming walk now... maybe smash my head against a brick wall a few times...

head vs. wall = 0/1

well played until your oversight.  #happens

That's the annoying thing, I was playing a good game, outplaying a stronger opponant. And then this...

Reason I chimed in is I gathered that is what was eating you up.  walk away calmly knowing your methods are valid and will serve you well in the future.  You were clearly happy with your open and midgame play so that is  what is key.  Against a better foe #always#remain#vigilant

Thank you Seraphimity, your sympathy is appreciated. That's why I posted it, for the catharsis!

ahh the human condition and how we always seek redemption.  It is why we love this game so much.  I am currently playing someone rated 1686 in a sicilian tourny.  I am up 8 points but still nearly tremble everytime I hit the submit button.  In another game he and I are equal but I do believe he has mistaken the endgame theory and I just might close em both on the win side.  If I do I'll score 6 points in the first round having already beaten a 1600 rated player for two, well he was 1600 ;)  I'd never played a sicilian game or an e4 open in my life in serious play.   So much to learn in this game.  Gl in the future~

haha, I had a similar game yesterday, same opening, and end game rook and knight vs rook and bishop, it was equal black had no way to promote but I put my king in an xray. Which allowed him to promote with check forking my took. Was 90points higher but shoulda been a draw.
