Another fun game with justdewit. Feedback is welcome for both sides :)

I think you would have gained more tempo with 6.Qxf3. Look at how then the Bishop and the Queen bear down on f7, threatening an early mate. Just my two cents.

I see your point. 6. Qxf3 would have also allowed me to castle kingside. I believe the reason I avoided that was because the threat of mate was so easily defended and allowed him to develop his pieces just as easily as normal, and my queen would have been developed earlier than I like. Thank you for the input.

In this case I think Qxf3 is quite recommanded. You can castle, and your queen is at an excellent position to threaten his king...

I guess that 6. Qf3 is still better by playing gxf3 you've given your opponent attack possibilities... luckily for you he didn't take advantage of it. But to be honest I can't see any straightforward way how to exploit it.

16. Na7+ is a blunder becouse.. 16... Ba7

and after 17.dxe5 black should play simple 17...Kb8 and all your threats are gone as well as your knight

besides your opponent can't play 17.... Qxe5 as in your comment becouse it leads not to Qa5 but to a forced mate 18. Be6+ Kb8 19. Qd8++ or 18... Rd7 19.Qd7+ Kb8

and 20.Qd8++
