if move 34 .. pawn d7 you would have lost
I think so. I wouldn't have had time to get back to adequately protect my back rank.
and rook puts you in check, pawn crowns and you loose rook

well,quite interesting move. a lesson for me. a good attack with a superb moves.
That was pretty hectic, but you could have had an easier time of it. As trysts pointed out 11...cxd4 would scoop up a piece and later on 24...Bxd3 followed by Rf4 looked like it would take care of business.
