Here is a recent game that demonstrates a few sacrifices.  I could certainly use some analysis help and it may serve a a good discussion lesson.  please don't pay too much attention to my pathetic openning.  as i explained to Josh when i him it against him, my openning theory sucks, so i try to take oponents out of complicated lines, so i don't get blitzed in the openning, even though it means i have to fight to regain position.

Why not 20 g5? followed by Rg1. It would have given him the half open file to attack on and continued on with the theme of smothering you. Other than that the game looked good. Don't have a whole lot of time to analyze but I will trust that after Bc6 h8 queen you had something planned for him.

I guess you would have some activity if you pushed to g4 after he moved his rook to g1 but he can defend the back rank mate with Bf1, and then after b3 Kb2 he can remove the pin.

edit: b3 doesn't work but there are other ways to remove it.

that was a definite possibilty also.  i would say it would be about 50-50 on either variation.  either way, white still maintains a slight advantage.  i was ready to accept wither possibility.
