This is a trial posting to see if I am doing it ok.  Analysis would be helpful. There are a number of inaccuracies and mistakes but seemingly no blunders. Smile

Edit: No moves is right. I imagined the pgn submitted would provide. I'll try again

No Problem, just paste the PGN into the empty box (make sure its valid), or if you want to make your own moves, make sure you click "enter moves"

I must be missing the obvious. I have typed the pgn in but no move list shows in preview. Any suggestions?

Edit:Is the idea to download the  pgn file and paste it from there????

You have obviously found the button to insert a board into your post. Upon pressing the button you will get this screen:

On this first screen you will want to select the second option as you are submitting a full game for analysis.

Next you will be presented with the option of including a PGN, FEN, or blank chessboard. Since a blank chessboard and an FEN string both are not suitable for inputting an entire game, we will select PGN. If you wish to input the moves manually, by all means, select blank chessboard and play out your game from start to finish. Make sure if you do this though that you utilize the "Enter Moves" button before beginning your game.

The PGN can be obtained by pressing the "Get PGN" button on any of your games on chess.com, saving the file, and opening it in notepad. From here, a simple copy and paste will do.

The final screen allows you to edit the game with comments, variations, and even different piece sets. When you are done customizing, simply press the Insert button and your game will show up in your post.

The end result should be a game board complete with the game that you've input, like so:

Did I hear you correctly... you "typed in" the pgn file? Don't do that -- use cut n' paste from a working pgn. If you make any error in the format of your typed-in pgn the computer will decide it's unreadable... that's one possible reason none of the moves showed up in your earlier efforts.
