White missed a few promising continuations. He could play either 16 Ndxe6 fe 17 Nxe6 Rxf1+ 18 Rxf1 or 17 Bxe6+ Rf7 (17... Kh8 18 Nxg6+ hg 19 Qh3+ mates) 18 Bxf7+ Kxf7 19 Nh5+ Kg8 (19... Nf6 20 Nxf6 Bxf6 21 Rad1) 20 Nxg7 Kxg7 21 Qxd6--either way with a very strong attack.
He could win with 23 Rd8. And also on the next move with 24 Rd8+.
