Great blitz game - I missed the rook sacrifice on several turns (despite seeing the potential of it), but was reprieved a couple of times to give me the win

Good game, your 5th move I do though not agree upon as it almost traps your light squared bishop.

There was a forced mate with checks, by the way:  19 Qxe4+ Kd7 20 Qe6+ Kc6 21 Bd5+ Kb5 22 Qe2+ Ka5 23 Bc3+ Bb4 24 Bxb4+ Kxb4 25 Qc4+ Ka5 26 Qa4.

Oh yeah man, 20. Bxa8 + is a MONSTER move.  Beautiful use of the discovery.  Even if black walked into it, your skill exploited it

JohnnySleazy - I thought Bxa8 was a mistake when I first went through the game because of 20. ...c5 as I couldn't see a way past it. In fact it only delays mate by 1 move (it is mate in 7, 20. Be6, 20. a3 and 20. a4+ are all mate in 6 - see variations below)

That's hilarious, I have never seen one of my games posted online what a disaster.  That will teach me to play blitz.
