probably not, but i think its a sacrifice that will lead to a goddamn good fighting game! Maybe not perfectly sound, but he follwed up to it pretty good, and as far as i can see black didnt play terrible moves (although maybe not the best)

No, I don't think you get full compensation for the knight. Granted it will lead to a complicated position and you may force your opponent to blunder. It appears that 13...Qe4?? does give you more than enough compensation.

maybe rather than 12...axb5, he couldve done 12...Rb8. what do you think?

Well, I think the best move for black is definately to accept the sac.

Looks a lot like computer analysis ouachita. =\ 'is much better, horrendous move, and throws away a winning position' doesn't help.

Not a sound sacrifice, but pretty game. You followed up well after he blundered with 13...Qe4. I'd try attacking f7 though, maybe 12.Ng5 e6 13.g4.

    Hi guys,

This was a delightful little game.  I enjoyed it so much that I played thru it twice.  Was the Knight sac completely sound.  I dont know, probably not, but it was pretty.  I think if a sacrafice is completely sound, then it isn't a sacrifice.

    Watch your backrank.

If you were you I would thank ouachita and cludi first, they actually helped you out. Jchurch5566 only told you what you, apparantly, wanted to hear.

First of all "If you were you"? i guess you mean if you were me, second, i guess you're right, i should thank cludi (Thanks!) but as far as i know ouachita just ran it through Rybka or something, which i could've done, still, thanks ouachita.

Why would black do 14. e6 instead of taking the knight on e5?

dude shut up.. ouachita was nice enough to explain most of the moves (taking up his time) and you criticize him..

thats pretty sad dude.. atleast shut your mouth and say thank you to him without being so negative.

This sac isnt sound btw, any decent player would know.
